CMO Ferguson Enterprises

 Mr. Brooks is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Senior Vice President of Ferguson, a diverse distributor that spans multiple businesses including commercial and residential plumbing supplies, HVAC, waterworks, industrial supplies and a direct to consumer internet business. In the past 64 years, Ferguson has grown from a local distributor to a $15.0 billion-dollar company with more than 1,400 locations and more than 24,000 associates nationwide.

 

As CMO, Mr. Brooks is responsible for Strategic Planning, Marketing, Advertising, Market Research, M&A, New Business Model Development and Ferguson Ventures.

 

Prior to joining Ferguson in 2005, he served as Vice President of Information Technology for Stock Building Supply, a subsidiary of Ferguson’s parent company. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic planning and execution of information technology across the company. He also acted as Chairman for Stock’s ERP implementation and developed the initial strategic plans for moving the business into e-commerce.

 

Prior to joining Stock Building Supply in 1997, Mr. Brooks was CEO and Founder of Norcon Technologies, a consulting firm specializing in technology for the wholesale distribution and retail markets.

 

He currently serves as a Director of J.J. Haines - a privately-held distribution company, a member of the Board of Directors for the Lackey Clinic, and a Board member of William & Mary’s Masters of Science in Business Analytics program. 

 

Mr. Brooks holds a MBA from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and a BS in Computer Science from Fanshawe College.
