Nick Ostergaard is the department head of Advanced Services and Digital Solutions at Toyota Material Handling, Inc. (TMH). TMH is North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of material handling equipment and solutions including forklifts, warehouse equipment, parts, service, telematics, energy solutions, fleet management and digital products.
Nick started his Toyota career in 2014 leading a strategic marketing transition from traditional marketing to a digital marketing strategy and operationalizing it internally and within the dealer network. During his time at Toyota, he has held leadership roles across marketing, e-commerce, digital strategy, digital products, telematics, energy and fleet management. In his current role, Nick leads a $100M+ department encompassing six groups focused on creating new services and solutions that create value for Toyota dealers and customers.
Prior to joining Toyota, Nick worked at the convergence of business and government at some of the largest lobbyist firms in the Midwest. Nick held marketing and corporate communications roles and attributes his time in this sector to building a strong foundation of business understanding, specifically creating influence and navigating through problems and challenges.
Nick is a former college athlete who played baseball for four years while attending Franklin College, a small private school in Indiana. He leans on his athletic background to maintain a healthy lifestyle focused on fitness and longevity.
Nick lives in Columbus, Indiana with his wife Jessica and daughters Aria and Maya.
