Sawyer joined OroCommerce in 2023 to help service manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers solve unique B2B, B2X, and marketplace use cases across all industries with best in breed eCommerce solutions. Prior to joining Oro, he helped digitally transform the retail B2B industry with Elastic Suite. Sawyer has worked alongside the world’s largest retail apparel, footwear, and accessories manufacturers and distributors to solve unique B2B challenges and standardize UX workflows. He rose through the ranks to build a global sales team and designed a marketplace product which led to Elastic Suite’s acquisition by publicly traded Emerald X, Inc. Leading up to his journey in eCommerce Sawyer was a successful manfuacturer’s sales representative who quickly adopted digital tools to support digital B2B buying and selling.
