Steve Edwards is Senior Vice President, Marketing, for Winsupply Inc. and
the Winsupply Family of Companies headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. In his role,
Edwards leads marketing and communications activities, including communications
to the companys 5,000 employees, media relations and shareholder
Winsupply owns a majority equity stake in nearly 600 local companies
across the United States. Collectively, Winsupply is known as The Winsupply
Family of Companies and includes Win-branded locations, Noland Company, Carr
Supply, Security Plumbing & Heating Supply, Wyatt Irrigation, APCO,
Michigan Temperature Supply, Electrical Sales, Inc., Tacoma Electric Supply,
and Thomas Pipe. The companies conduct business-to-business wholesale
distribution of supplies and materials in plumbing and heating; hydronics;
pipe, valves and fittings; HVAC and refrigeration; electrical; fastening
hardware; waterworks and utility; pumps; turf irrigation and landscape; and
fire system fabrication.
Edwards joined Winsupply in 2006. Prior to joining the company he was
director of corporate communications with LexisNexis, a global information
solutions provider. He began his career as a broadcast journalist working at
television stations in Cincinnati and Dayton. He has had communications
positions of increasing responsibility at Paramounts Kings Island, NCR
Corporation and LexisNexis. He has won several communications awards and has
extensive experience in crisis communications. Edwards graduated from the
University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in broadcasting.
